We used Esme Photography for our daughter’s senior year high school photographs. Esme was a true professional and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She was very flexible in getting a date and time scheduled. She listened to what my daughter had in mind and made several site recommendations – all of which were spot on as to what we were looking for.
The day of the photo shoot Esme was 100% focused on my daughter and capturing her true personality. She is extremely creative – some of my favorite shots were ones that we hadn’t really planned on. She has a unique ability to capture the beauty and emotion that you sometimes don’t even realize is there.
Turn around time on our photo “proofs” was very quick. And, once we made up our mind as to which photos we wanted, we received our beautiful prints quite quickly as well. We couldn’t be happier with how our daughter’s pictures turned out to capture this milestone in her life. Esme’s attention to detail is unparalleled. She is truly a wonderful photographer. I would highly recommend Esme Photography for any photo occasion.

I saw Esmeralda’s work when she was working a friend’s party. The pictures she took were so clear and fun, I had to try. I hired her to do photos for my daughter’s prom as well as a family party. I can tell you this, I will never do my own photos for Prom again. Esmeralda was able to get shots with such grace and clarity that I could never have even hoped to achieved. Her artistic eye and skilled hand wowed everyone who saw the pictures. Reasonable prices and exceptional talent, hiring her was the best decision I could have made. I recently hired Esmeralda for a series of indoor professional headshots for new executives of our firm. I was looking for more than standard passport photos or something the guys could do at the mall, and was referred to her through a mutual friend. By phone and email, I was immediately put at ease as to her handle on things – I’m in Florida and she and my executives are in Chicago (I wouldn’t be there in person during the shoot). Esmeralda recently attended my baby shower in New York to help capture the memories of the day in her photographs. When I received the files of photos I couldn’t have been happier. The results were more than I could have ever wanted. She took EvErY detail of the decorations that my family spent hours creating-from the seating cards, to the flower arrangements, the hanging lanterns, the beauty of the decorations, the delicious food, the ambiance and the feelings of love and family that was exuding throughout the room to even the confetti on the tables. She captured the ambiance of the affair all with her photography!
Esmeralda was able to capture the candid moments of the day as we didn’t even known she was watching. She gave me the most precious gift through her photos because in twenty and thirty years I will remember the hugs from my best friend, the sweet glance from across the room to my mom, and even the expressions of tenderness as I opened the teeny tiny outfits from my cousins.
Thank you not only for your professionalism and expertise but for knowing what moments were important to capture without anyone having to tell you. My favorite pictures though were the ones of my guests and me. I tend to clam up when I know pictures are being taken but Esmeralda was able to photograph the guests and me in candid situations, when we had no idea she was even taking the photos. She has an artistic eye and a knack for knowing what moments are meant to be captured.
